On Sunday 11th of September we made our first appearance at "A Brides Affair". A wedding fair set in the beautiful grounds of Combe House Hotel surrounded by Somerset's breathtaking Quantock Hills and organised by Marry Me In Somerset.
The fair was set within the outside grounds of the hotel and we were located in the fabulous marquee which consisted of starlight drapes twinkling over our Tiaras. Combe House offers bespoke wedding packages tailored specifically to meet your wishes. Wedding parties from 10 to 200 people can be accommodated either inside the hotel or in the beautiful marquee located in the hotel grounds, which is available from May to October. They also have a pretty chapel situated to the right of the hotel which can be accommodated to suit your needs
With one 6ft table it was proving a little tricky to display the look and feel of our boutique. I of course wanted to bring everything with me to show brides to be what we had on offer and why we are unique. But two suitcases and two mannequins was all I could fit in the car.
10am and after everyone had finished getting their display's ready and had finished their coffee's, we were greeted by guests at the event.
This was when I realised that the hard work in setting up Bridezillas started to pay off emotionally for me. I absolutely enjoyed every single minute spent talking to every single bride to be and their families.
My biggest joy was trying tiara's on a bride and seeing their face light up when she saw herself for the first time in the mirror. I can not wait to get the boutique opened.
Bridezillas Boutique will have a vintage feel with a twist of modern shabby chic.
Imagine walking into Aladdin's cave and being wowed by a radiant sparkle.
A mixture of vintage and bespoke designs, traditional pearl and crystal tiaras, modern sparkly headbands to wow every occasion.
Swarovski and freshwater pearls to be worn with any outfit. Diamante and Russian man-made diamonds to dazzle the eye.
Ostrich feather and Marabou shrugs with Duchess Satin Silk shoes encrusted with Australian Crystals.
